Bunnies are new to us as of a year ago. We found out that someone is trapping them at their property and dropping them off in our woods (squirrels, too)…. but there’s nothing much to eat in the woods and big bad owls live there. So far, they are only eating the clover. We’ll see.
Our bunnies are kind of cute and quite tame. They lay close by under a shrub while I weed. The labs leave them alone (but detest squirrels, moles and mice) and the cats aren’t interested. mister gardener added a wire fence around the base of his picket fence so they won’t be tempted by the juicy carrots he grows. So far, so good.
How sweet!

I’m getting attached to these little guys. Hope no one catches me talking to the bunnies while I weed.

What a little cutie. Did he leave any candy?

Marbles, he left no candy but he was very generous with fertilizer. The grass is very green in that little patch!
